Says Oddsmaker, "Dan Dukich (a.k.a. Gladiola) makes his debut appearance with a flawless lo-fi mash-up of layered sound experiments and melodic sing-along jingles. 'So Such So' conjures up an altered auditory perspective, nighttime camps sing along in the Marshmallow Mountains, a tiptoe skinny dip into the placid lake on mushrooms. From the first track until completion it brings to mind a whole life cycle, birth, childhood, adulthood and ultimately death. The EP reaches a gorgeous crest at front of the 11-minute third track. Loops of soft flickering crickets on meth murmur over what sounds like a banjo or plastic stringed acoustic guitar. The EP finishes out with reverberated, softly sung lyrics of warning and ultimately, redemption. From that it ends the life cycle, quick as a cinematic pistol suicide. The curtain falls and all goes black."
